Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Organization:
– Develop and enforce biosafety policies and procedures in alignment with local and international requirements.
– Design and implement comprehensive biohazard management plans to identify and mitigate potential risks.
– Regularly review and update protocols to adhere to the latest regulations and best practices.
2. Risk Management:
– Analyze risks associated with handling viruses and microorganisms used in vaccine production.
– Ensure compliance with biosafety levels ( BSL-2, BSL-3) relevant to the facility’s operations.
– Develop and oversee emergency response plans for potential biological incidents.
3. Training and Awareness:
– Conduct regular training sessions for staff on biosafety principles and procedures.
– Provide guidance to ensure staff adhere to safety protocols when handling biological materials and equipment.
– Promote a culture of safety through ongoing awareness campaigns.
4. Monitoring and Supervision:
– Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to biosafety protocols.
– Oversee safe disposal of biological waste and proper functioning of sterilization systems.
Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
– Prepare monthly and periodic reports on the implementation of safety measures.
Investigate biological incidents, providing detailed reports with corrective action plans.
– Maintain and update comprehensive biosafety records.
– Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Microbiology, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in biosafety or risk management in vaccine or pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
– Strong knowledge of local and international biosafety standards and regulations (e.g., wHo, CDC, OSHA).
– Professional certifications such as Certified Biological Safety Professional (CBSP) are a plus.

Responsible for both product planning and product marketing annually (for short time by quarter and for long time annually). – Develop the annual marketing plan including strategy and marketing message and control advertising, promotion and sales aids in accordance with the annual marketing plan.
